Cambodia Welcomes All Investors with Special Incentives Under 2021 Investment Law

Phnom Penh, March 20, 2024 – On the morning of Tuesday, March 19, 2024, Sun Chanthol, First Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, held a meeting with several companies. These companies are members of the Association for the Protection of the Environment in Cambodia, led by Mr. John Yu, President of the Golden Integrity International Investment Group.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed the Council for the Development of Cambodia’s readiness to facilitate all investment activities from all countries. He emphasized that Cambodia is a potential country that investors should consider for investment. The nation is open to all investment activities, particularly offering incentives in certain sectors in line with the 2021 Investment Law of the Kingdom of Cambodia. In addition to providing crucial information for investment, the government has been paying close attention to infrastructure projects. These include highways, new international airports, and deep-sea ports, all aimed at facilitating investment and enhancing competitiveness.

The companies invited to explore investment opportunities in Cambodia on this occasion included the Golden Integrity International Investment Group, King City International Investment, Shingtak Footwear, Guangzhou New Shingtak, HKZQ Energy and Technology, Guoao Environment Protection Engineering, and representatives from the Dongguan Taiwan Chamber of Commerce.

The meeting was organized to enable several companies, members of the Association for the Protection of the Environment in Cambodia from China and Singapore, to discuss work and learn about investment opportunities and the support provided by the Cambodian government to investors. The focus of the investment is on green development.
